Citigroup Transaction Relationship Manager in London, United Kingdom

Business Overview:

The Issuer Services business delivers bespoke capital market transaction services to a wide variety of clients including banks, corporations, lawyers and governments around the world. Specific transaction services are delivered in connection with Corporate Debt, Restructuring, Structured Finance, Repackagings, Loans, Project Finance and Depositary Receipts.


Experienced transactor in the delivery of client transaction relationship management services through the review, negotiation, and execution of relevant documentation in the support of security agent and facility agent roles in Loan and Project Finance transactions.

• Role is to ensure compliance to Issuer Services’ documentation standards as well as ensuring all documentation and processing risks are adequately managed.

• Transactions also include loan financing related account bank and custody roles.

• Market segments: leveraged finance, shipping, aviation, equity margin financing, European project finance, structured finance and general corporate lending

• Responsible for an allocated portfolio of transactions across various clients.

• Act as a focal point for allocated clients. Build and develop client relationships.

• Ensure accurate set up and maintenance of transactions including post-closure matters and deal termination

• Ensure appropriate client/account management coverage including annual reviews and KYC renewals.

• Ensure all appropriate approvals are in place prior to deal closure including KYC, deal review, trustee approvals

• Participate in deal review committee as appropriate.

• Ensure billing/legal invoicing is current and accurate.

• Liaise with Operations regarding the implementation of new transactions.

• Ensure accurate creation, verification and actioning of diary dates for future events derived from relevant documentation.

• Provide support to Sales on new business prospects as required.

• Contribute to the product management of Loans including assistance with product management

• Maintain and contribute to audit and control activities

• Any other duties as required

Knowledge / Experience:

• Knowledge of the Issuer Services product and markets

• 5 years’ experience working in loan documentation in Facility Agent and/or Security Agent roles.

• LMA documentation experience vital

• Fiduciary legal experience required

• Track record of working to transaction deadlines
