As a Quality Engineer II, you'll ensure all quality standards are met for our engineering programs. You'll participate in the audits of programs and other areas to standardized quality acceptance criteria. You'll write audit checklists, assist in reviewing and evaluating program gates for criteria acceptable to go to the next gate. You may also participate in AS9100 audits. You'll provide support during planning, organizing, and conducting of our projects involving the design and development of new evaluation and control processes utilizing statistical analysis and other control/risk mitigation techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Develop annual audit schedule for Engineering Program Compliance.

• Perform audits following company standards built around CMMI and AS9100.

• Issue Corrective Actions as necessary and assist with Root Cause Analysis.

• Complete annual goals in a timely manner.

• Participate or Lead continuous improvement efforts.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager.

Must-haves:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 3 or more years of relevant experience

• Higher education may substitute for relevant experience

• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education

• Knowledge of Quality System requirements and contract quality requirements

• Experience in manufacturing and inspection

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions, and test procedures

• Knowledge of AS9100 and CMMI

• Experience in root cause analysis techniques

• Experience in conducting internal audits

Preferred:
