Robert Half HR & Payroll Coordinator in Long Beach, California

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a HR Coordinator in Long Beach, California. This role will be focused on managing payroll operations and data management using Ceridian software. The successful candidate will be a key point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, and will work closely with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless coordination of payroll activities.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Ceridian software to process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time for all employees

• Maintain and update employee records in Ceridian, including salary information, deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings

• Stay abreast of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and ensure compliance in all payroll processes and filings

• Collaborate with HR to administer employee benefits programs through Ceridian

• Generate payroll reports using Ceridian tools to provide insights into payroll costs, tax liabilities, and other key metrics for management review and decision-making

• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and resolve any payroll-related issues effectively

• Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of payroll activities and data exchange within Ceridian

• Identify opportunities to optimize payroll processes within Ceridian and streamline workflows to enhance system efficiency. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar HR Coordinator role.

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is necessary.

• Familiar with ADP Workforce Now.

• Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is preferred.

• Proficiency in Ceridian and Ceridian Payroll System is required.

• Must be capable of utilising HRMS effectively.

• Experience with About Time software is beneficial.

• Must be able to conduct Background Checks as part of the recruitment process.

• Should be well-versed with Benefit Functions.

• Proficient in Compensation Administration.

• Understanding of Compliance procedures within HR is essential.
