Description

A well known firm in Silicon Valley is seeking a bright, motivated, and detail-oriented Junior Trust & Estate Attorney to join their established and expanding practice. This role offers a dynamic work environment, challenging and rewarding projects, and the opportunity to learn from experienced attorneys in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.

• Assist with estate and trust administration, including asset gathering, creditor notification, accountings, and distributions.

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex trusts and estate law issues.

• Meet with clients and attend court hearings as needed.

• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on cases.

• Stay up-to-date on current developments in trust and estate law.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

• California Bar license.

• Excellent writing skills.

• 1-2 years of experience in trust and estate law preferred, but not required.

• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in legal research and writing software.
