Description

An entertainment company in the Century City area is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join its HR team. This is a direct-hire opportunity where you will need deep expertise in the areas of coaching, talent management, succession planning, inclusion and diversity, career development tools, employee relations, process design work, etc. In addition, the HRBP will be responsible for all day-to-day human resources needs (i.e. employee relations, manager coaching, implementing new policies, employee onboarding, etc.).

Additional Responsibilities:

• Provides HR guidance on all areas of people guidance and development - with a particular focus on early career employees

• Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership to develop talent solutions and programs to help clients design effective, bespoke talent strategies aligned to talent strategy

• Recommends organizational development solutions and partners with L& D for learning solutions

• Presents organization health dashboards to group leader and tracks progress to ensure talent strategy effectiveness

• Manages employee relations issues and conducts investigations

• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to daily management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance and effectively partners with the legal department as required

• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation as needed and day-to-day performance management guidance

• Support and maintain the employee engagement programs and initiatives and develop positive employee relations strategies

The ideal candidate will have between 7-13 years of experience. Experience in media and entertainment is required. This role is onsite Monday- Thursday and remote on Fridays. Pay is based on experience, between $140-180k.
