TEKsystems L1 Desktop Support Specialist in Los Angeles, California
TEKsystems is going to own the L1 Desktop support for the local offices. These 2 new positions will be on a team of 3 owning the inventory management support, specifically adding and updating inventory leveraging Asset Panda, building out and imaging equipment for new hires, support all Tier 1 support tickets, and escalate higher tier tickets, and support the upgrading of machines as it relates to both hardware and data transfers

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Soft skills: Customer Service is key. and candidates need to be able to give a quick summary of how they fixed the problem so the user understands. Communication is top on the list/ along with a friendly demeanor.
Technologies: 98% Windows shop (Win 10) Dell shop with some Macs in the environment. Mac experience is a plus, not required. This person should know how to build a PC from the ground up. All high level networking is taken on by Network Admins - this person should know where to plug in network cable and adapter and how does that backup. DeskPro ticketing system (created via email and pick up from there). This person will eventually be responsible for assigning tickets.
Someone who enjoys the gaming world is a must!
