A thriving law firm is seeking a new junior legal assistant. This legal assistant position requires a bachelor's degree and some law firm or legal experience. The ideal legal assistant will have an interest in probate law and/or probate litigation, but no prior probate experience is required.

This legal assistant will be joining a friendly firm, and this is a new legal assistant position the firm is adding due to growth. This firm has an incredibly collaborative environment and a very positive work culture! This firm does regular outings and employee appreciation events to celebrate their team. The firm is offering this legal assistant a generous compensation package with great benefits. This legal assistant will work onsite 3 days/week.

This legal assistant will be responsible for:

• Provide comprehensive support in civil and probate litigation processes

• Manage court filings and maintain an accurate court calendar

• Format, proofread and handle legal documents to ensure accuracy and consistency

• Assist in the preparation of TOA (Table of Authorities) and TOC (Table of Contents) in legal documents

• Collaborate with legal teams to ensure smooth litigation processes

• Handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner

• Act as a liaison between various internal departments to ensure effective communication and delivery of requests and information

• Organize and manage legal documentation and correspondence in strict confidence

• Conduct thorough statistical/ documentary research

• Participate in the preparation and management of trials.
