Description

A well known Healthcare Organization in Southern California is seeking a Payroll Specialist. The primary function of the Payroll Specialist will be handling payroll for a large number of employees, managing manual checks, and becoming proficient in ADP software and E-Time. This role offers an excellent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire payroll process

• Utilize ADP software and E-time for payroll related tasks

• Handle manual checks for a large number of employees

• Ensure all payroll operations are carried out in accordance with state and federal laws

• Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll queries

• Ensure accurate maintenance and updating of payroll information in the ADP system

• Process payroll for over 500 employees

• Perform accounts payable and receivable duties as necessary

• Manage 401k - RRSP Administration and other accounting functions

• Work onsite with flexible hours ranging from 8 - 5 pm

Requirements

• Must be proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration is necessary

• Proficiency in About Time software is expected

• Must be skilled in Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with ADP Enterprise and ADP Workforce Now is required

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are needed

• Must be able to handle confidential information responsibly

• Experience with payroll procedures and regulations is required

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is expected.
