Robert Half Senior Real Estate Manager in Los Angeles, California

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Senior Real Estate Manager in Los Angeles, California. This role involves managing a property that serves as transitional housing, under the asset management of the city's Housing Authority. The industry is real estate, and the workplace is a property site that requires careful and compassionate management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the transitional housing property

• Liaise with the city's Housing Authority on asset management matters

• Ensure the property is maintained to a high standard and meets all necessary regulations

• Handle administrative tasks related to property management, including record-keeping and reporting

• Respond to and resolve issues or inquiries relating to the property

• Monitor the property's accounts and initiate appropriate action when necessary

• Process applications for transitional housing and maintain accurate customer records

• Utilize Yardi software for property management tasks

• Collaborate with a team of real estate professionals to ensure the property's smooth operation

• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in property management. Requirements • Must hold a bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proven experience in real estate management or a similar role.

• Proficiency in using Yardi software is a must.

• Strong understanding of real estate laws, rules, and regulations.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Must be able to travel as needed.

• Certified Property Manager (CPM) or similar certification will be considered an asset.

• Experience in managing commercial properties is highly desirable.

• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

• Must have the ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision.

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Strong financial acumen and the ability to interpret and analyze financial reports.

• Ability to create and implement strategic plans and goals for the department.
