Job Summary

As delegated by the Project Manager, responsibilities include scheduling, coordination, and quality control to insure fulfillment of contractual obligations. APM is in charge of the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Louisville, KY location. Activities include management of employees, materials, supplies, and records.

Primary Duties

  • Oversee all assigned operations including supervision of employees, meeting of contractual obligations and other items as assigned by the Project Manager.

  • Plan, coordinate, train, motivate, monitor, and evaluate performance on employees.

  • Coordinate with contract personnel to provide monthly KPI and QC reports as noted in the project contract.

  • Interface with customers on a regular basis to solve problems. This may include meeting with the appropriate staff to resolve issues and make recommendations. Work directly with customers in receiving job materials, coordinating job requirements, or meeting work completion schedules.

  • Assist in training staff in the design and implementation of goals and objectives of the contract, IEE’s, vocational and behavior plans, documentation and in other areas as assigned.

    Additional Responsibilities

  • Write employee counseling reports as needed.

  • Coordinate with project manager, HR staff, and Rehabilitation staff to solve behavior/attendance issues.

  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team process and other meetings pertaining to employee goals and objectives.

  • Provide input as needed. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form.

  • Submit employee timecards accurately, and in a timely manner for the operation of the department and contract requirement.

  • Notify appropriate personnel when materials or maintenance on machines is needed.

  • Participate in all other training required by funding source(s) and/or the corporation.

  • Assist PM to facilitate coverage for critical shifts in the event of absences or leave request and if unable to find suitable coverage, may be required to cover necessary shifts.

  • Complete monthly safety inspections and assist PM with Quarterly drills as required.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications: Education, Experience and Certification(s)

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.

  • 1-3 years’ experience in call center operations required; 1 year in a supervisory capacity required.

  • A well organized, detail oriented, and self-directed individual who is a team player.

  • An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Good writing ability with proficiency in verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service and phone skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Ability to learn new computer programs as required by contract .

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
