The Senior Consumer eCommerce Specialist, Air & Water will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing the digital GE brand for the Air & Water channel and the B2B2C experience to drive increased site traffic, lead generation, online conversion, and brand commitment. This role will influence and manage content across various digital channels including web, search, mobile, video, and paid social that is relevant to the customer during the shopping process and post-purchase ownership experience. This role will work with a cross-functional team to build the best-in class digital experience for the GE brand for the Air & Water channel by driving strategy with Consumer eCommerce, Brand, National Ad, DT, UX Design, Sales teams, and agency partners.

Other key responsibilities include the ability to write detailed, usability guided project specs, understand technical requirements, and drive digital projects from conception to launch. The candidate will keep abreast of digital insights while defining, implementing, and tracking KPIs.

How You'll Create Possibilities

  • Responsible for developing and launching the Consumer eCommerce strategy for the Air & Water website(s) focused on improving consumer experience, growth, consumer acquisitions and retention.

  • Analyze and develop onsite optimization for web commerce including NPI launches, product selection, sorting rules, bundle creation and product/service cross-sell and up-sell.

  • Build lead capture and drive conversion through data informed action plans and best practices.

  • Translate business, marketing and new product objectives into cohesive and simple consumer facing web pages and programs that exceed consumer journey expectations.

  • Develop and build content strategy for Air & Water brands to bring the brand to life on the website.

  • Understand and drive enhancement of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

  • Track, measure, optimize and report on core KPIs including web sessions, time on site, conversion, page views, site speed, bounce rate, click pathing, Where to Buy lead generation, site search performance and sales.

  • Work with internal teams on strategic requests and projects. Hold meetings and perform all necessary tasks to move items through the workflow process from start to finish.

  • Engage and collaborate with cross-functional team in continuous feedback cycle, streamlining and prioritizing ongoing requests to support key brand initiatives with sound digital strategy execution.

  • Drive continued site enhancements based on latest trends in the ecommerce space while managing day to day operations.

  • Lead key stakeholder meetings driving alignment on priorities, executing on time and on budget.

  • Work collaboratively within our matrixed organization to build robust and meaningful content for the GE Air & Water target segments.

  • Partner with key agencies, DT Teams, Consumer eCommerce, brand, advertising, merchandising, product teams, legal, communications and PR, to ensure consistency across all consumer touch points.

  • Evaluate consumer research, market conditions and competitor data to recommend future actions.

  • Drive regular leadership report outs on Consumer eCommerce performance.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college; marketing or business administration preferred

  • 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: digital/brand marketing, traditional marketing, or media

  • Minimum 2 years of prior e-commerce experience

  • Experience in setting and managing sales and margin goals, as well as the ability to establish and interpret relevant KPIs/performance and optimize merchandising plans to drive sales

  • Prior experience working with web analytics, digital tools / technology, and multiple vendor/agency partners

  • Strong collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to form strong partnerships and working relationships within the team, cross-functional and with vendor/agency partners

  • Ability to think strategically and tactically while balancing competing priorities

  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills

Desired Characteristics

  • Master’s degree in marketing, Business or Finance

  • Experience working with multiple brands in an omni-channel environment

  • Demonstrated initiative-taker with the ability to work in a very fast-paced, matrixed organization serving as a catalyst for change and managing multiple work streams simultaneously

  • The ability to understand and explain complex issues, but also clearly identify and communicate the situation at an elevated level

  • Ability to present and influence leadership in a clear and concise manner on Digital e-commerce progress and key learnings

  • Willingness to work hard and contribute positively to a unique, fun, and exceptional company culture

  • Exhibit professional initiative and entrepreneurial drive

  • Portfolio of successful implementations and performance in previous roles
