Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a related field and six (6) years of related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Grade 9 (Salaried)Position Description:The Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine at the University of Louisville continues to experience a robust phase of growth and expansion and is seeking a full-time Senior Manager, Business Unit Administration. The Senior Manager, Business Unit Administration will assist the Executive Director with high-level strategic, budgeting, and financial leadership for the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine. This role supervises departmental staff and ensures the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of payroll processing, employment actions, and operating expenses. The Senior Manager will oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements for department leadership, monitor professional billing processes, and oversee medical director billing. The Senior Manager will collaborate with departmental, practice plan, and health system leadership on funding strategies, initiatives, and business operations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Human Resources: Responsible for managing departmental staff, and related employment actions.Financial Oversight: Oversee financial transactions and reconciliations, prepare and analyze financial reports for department leadership, and ensure the accuracy of financial data. Evaluate and audit financial systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance. Assist with preparing department budget, variance analysis, quarterly physician bonuses, and medical director billing.Grant Management: Approve pre-award grant budgets and manage post-award sponsored research. Review accounting and financial data for grants and research accounts, resolving any discrepancies.Data Analysis & Reporting: Perform detailed statistical analysis to identify trends, providing high-level reports to the executive director, including linear regression, forecasting, data modeling, and hypothetical assumptions.
