Performs routine administrative support or technical program assistance work. Works under moderate supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Major/Essential Functions:

  • Manage departmental supply orders and standard purchasing through TechBuy.

  • Oversee departmental parking requests.

  • Reconcile and manage departmental procurement card.

  • Submit work orders and communicate departmental needs/requests to other campus departments/outside vendors as needed.

  • Process departmental travel (pre-approvals, travel advances and expense reports)

  • Assist in position management/onboarding processes for new staff in conjunction with the Unit Manager. (job positing, ePAF creation, door access, etc.)

  • Support Unit Manager with other administrative duties as needed.

Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with internal TTU systems: (TechBuy, ePAF, Chrome River for Travel and Procurement Cards)

  • Familiarity with confidential personnel documents and hiring processes.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to self-start and take initiative to complete assigned tasks without requiring additional prompting from supervisors.

Completion of high school or the equivalent. Five years office experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
