For this role we are seeking an experienced Senior Business Operations Manager to work as strategic business partner to the EMEA Tech Leader.

In this role you will help define, build, launch and optimize cross-area and cross-functional programs and initiatives. You will own operational cadences, reporting and drive efficiencies and acceleration mechanisms. The key to your success is excellent attention to detail, a strategic mindset and ability to translate strategic priorities into operational mechanisms and delivery initiatives - all whilst bringing the business on the journey. You are a trusted advisor for the EMEA Tech leadership team as well as their teams. You will always push the operational efficiency so that we scale our impact and maintain a high bar for quality.

The successful candidate is analytical and possesses a passion for developing insights from data. They should be able to communicate those insights effectively to business stakeholders. The candidate should demonstrate critical analytical thinking and the willingness to dive deep.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Key job responsibilities

  • Identify initiatives that quantify and drive the most value of our tech resources on our customers.

  • Track and report all key performance indicators, goals, efficiency and trend analyses during monthly business reviews. Develop management dashboards and reports

  • Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed.

  • Identify and drive programs that will support achieve attainment of strategic objectives

  • Analyze data and trends to make informed recommendations to managers and drive change

  • Collaborate with other GEO teams to identify and implement best practices.

  • Ensure consistent and efficient execution of all functions by working closely with internal business partners and stakeholders to drive adoption and implementation of global standards, processes and programs.

  • Collaborate with other Business Operations Managers to identify and share best practices.

Launched in 2019, the EMEA Business Operations team is a new and fast-growing team. We are still at the beginning of our journey and there is a lot of room to bring innovative ideas, build new projects and have a great impact on our AGS organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.

  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership
