Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Procurement Analyst to join our team in Madison, Indiana. The function of this role is to manage orders efficiently, work with various teams to maintain inventory levels, and resolve related issues. This role operates in a workplace that values effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and manage orders to meet customer, production, and inventory needs

• Facilitate the purchase of quality materials in a timely manner

• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve delivery or receiving issues and invoice discrepancies

• Work with Sales, Engineering, Sourcing, and Production teams to maintain inventory service levels and address inventory problems

• Communicate with management and production workers to solve daily problems related to schedule or customer orders

• Attend training to stay current in the field and represent the team at meetings

• Initiate material deviations when necessary

• Support the PFEP (Plan For Every Part) process and Kanban setup

• Collaborate with internal teams on the disposition of obsolete and excess material

• Utilize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and other management systems to execute job functions and maintain adequate inventory.Buyer

Requirements • Demonstrated experience in a Procurement Analyst role or similar position

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Strong knowledge of Management Systems

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Experience with 'About Time' software

• Understanding of compliance regulations and procedures

• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate documentation

• Experience in materials handling

• Knowledge of standard office functions

• Ability to ensure adequate inventory levels

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Degree in business administration, finance, or related field is preferred

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
