JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Department of Medicine is seeking a provider who is dedicated to delivering empathetic patient care, while playing a pivotal role in improving the overall patient experience through clinical informatics. We seek candidates who are energized by a complex patient population and working on a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team. They will also bring their wealth of knowledge to support the departmental informatics needs of support, innovation, EHR optimization, and end-user optimization. A successful candidate will be equal parts compassionate and comprehensive in their care, and enthusiastic to teach this approach to groups of dedicated and eager learners. Responsibilities: Provide provide clinical patient care, admitting and managing hospital inpatients, including serving as staff to pre-op evaluation clinic, post-discharge rapid follow-up clinic. Provide clinical and informatics teaching to fellows, residents, medical students, and other learners. The preferred candidate will either have experience teaching and working with a diverse population or will welcome a commitment to teaching and working with a diverse population. They will also have a robust working knowledge of clinical informatics and the ability to collaborate on multidisciplinary teams for process improvement and implementation.
