JOB REQUIREMENTS: RN - Pre/Post Surgery - 32583 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: 90% FTE, 8/10 hour day/night shifts with a range of hours between 5:15am-8:30pm. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Surg/OR - Pre/Post to: * Be responsible for independent peri-anesthetic management of a complex, varied surgical population. * Develop a therapeutic relationship by establishing trust and enabling the patient and/or family to verbalize the requirements for care comfortably. Preferred - Bachelor of Science - Nursing (BSN). Work Experience : Minimum - Six (6) months of RN experience. Preferred - * Experience working pre/post operatively with varied surgical patient populations. * Emergency nursing, critical care, medical/surgical, or ambulatory surgery center experience. * Moderate sedation and cardiac monitoring experience. * One (1) year or more of RN experience. Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations. Basic Life Support/CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) if assigned to work in the PACU.
