In your role you will have access to Stantec’s world-class expertise to help you deliver leading edge solutions for our clients. You’ll also be able to mentor and develop our graduates and apprentices, supporting them in progressing their careers and professional qualifications. You’ll also be developing and guiding our mid-level Civil Engineers and Senior Civil Engineers on their projects and supporting their career progression.

Our team in Manchester work closely with our Warrington and Leeds teams who support our United Utilities frameworks and Yorkshire Water Strategic Planning Partnership (SPP) framework. There are opportunities to work across all project stages in asset planning / strategy, concept design, outline design, and detailed design. Our office is in the centre of Manchester, located close to Oxford Road train station and other public transport hubs so is easily commutable.

About you

We are seeking people from a range of civil engineering backgrounds in the water industry - whether that is upfront design and feasibility studies or working in the design and build space.

Ideally you will be an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer, but if you’re not yet and have the right level of experience we will give you the support you need in gaining IEng or CEng.

Why join us?

The friendly and collaborative culture at Stantec is something we are proud of, and we have many other reasons for you to be excited about joining us.
