About the role: Boston Scientific is looking for a talented and passionate Data Engineer to join our R&D Software team. Your responsibilities include: Develop databases and data pipelines to enable organized and fast ingestion and handling of medical imaging data used in Machine Learning Algorithms Collaborate closely with data scientists, cloud data engineers, and software engineers to create virtual platforms to host advanced software prototypes Investigates, researches, and selects software designs and practices. Participates in design and code reviews. Participate in Agile software development process and work towards achieving individual and team goals Coordinate and collaborate with global team members Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters requiring coordination between organizations. Continuously improves process and work methodologies by interfacing with peers/cross-functional groups and analyzing activities to improve workflow and work processes.
