Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.The Impact You'll Make in this RoleThis is a highly technical position for a senior software product performance engineer with experience in load, stress, spike, endurance, performance, scalability, and system integration automation testing. In this role you will assess and recommend improvements as needed. The successful candidate will have a passion for full-stack Performance engineering. Actively participates in performance test workload modeling, script development, and execution of performance test suites to evaluate and provide technical assistance to improve system availability, performance, reliability, and scalability.As a Product Performance Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Architecting, designing, developing, and supporting test infrastructure that can enable continuous delivery of quality healthcare softwarePrepare test strategies to detect possible software issuesScripting challenging workflows using advanced options in JmeterRunning a performance testing on a complex software applicationAnalyzing testing results and providing the root cause of the issuesMentoring junior members of the team will be another assignment for this roleDedicate hours during pre-releaseYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher AND 10 years of performance engineering experienceORHigh School Diploma/GED from AND 14 years of performance engineering experience5 years of demonstrated experience scripting with Jmeter, configuring and running tests in Blazemeter, and analyzing using APM tool alike New Relic in a private, public, government or military environment3 years of demonstrated experience with Cloud Performance Testing, Integrated Performance testing between AWS Cloud and On-Prem applications3 years of experience manipulating HL7 messages in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master's degree in computer science or related field or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionFive (5) years of experience of Jenkins, Git, TFS, or other similar tools, and hand-on experience with debugging and tuning of Application servers, JVM, GC, heap, and thread dump analysis, OS & database analysis, and related performance issues in a private, public, government or military environmentFive (5) years of demonstrated experience using Agile methodology in a private, public, government or military environmentAbility to meet timelines set in project plans and produce a high-quality product, take individual initiative and responsibility for assignments, adapt to changing priorities, quickly learn and apply new tools and technologyExperience with SQL SP and queriesExperience with KibanaStrong critical thinking skills, good analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate system performance, identify root causes of issues, and recommend effective solutions.Ability to create business report of test resultsAbility to communicate with development to help demonstrate test results or issuesWork location:RemoteRelocation Assistance: Not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
