Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a lab technician to support a prestigious biomedical manufacturing company. This lab tech will be working at a Center of Excellence that utilizes in vitro and ex vivo approaches, such as biochemical, cell-based, microbial, and tissue-based assays to support the design, development and commercialization of BSC products. The successful Laboratory Technician candidate should have appropriate scientific experience to provide the technical support required for supporting in vitro biomedical research studies.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Supporting in vitro hemocompatibility testing of blood contacting devices at the bench

* Following experimental protocols and executing on tasks both independently and with guidance from senior team members

* Assisting with preparation of data for reporting and presentation

* Optimizing and troubleshooting technical assays

* Maintaining detailed and accurate records

Skills and Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

* BS in cell biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, or a related field

* Ability to quickly learn new techniques and adapt in a changing environment

* Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task

* Excellent written and communication skills

* Ability to work effectively in a team setting and on an individual basis

* Results and detail-oriented Preferred qualifications

* Hands on experience in one or more of the following areas: in vitro assays, hemocompatibility evaluation, hematology and/or microscopy

* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. null
