Woodlawn Management LLC CNC Programmer / Maintenance Technician - Marshall in MARSHALL, Texas
**[WOODLAWN MANUFACTURING IS SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED CNC PROGRAMMER / MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN!
PAY IS BETWEEN $25 - $30 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE ]{noto="" sans=""}**
- Set up CNC lathes and mills for new operations with G code
- GDandT and Solid works knowledge is preferred
- Ensures operation of CNC machines and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on machining lathes and mills, motors, pneumatic tools, and production equipment; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions
- Mechanic skills include, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
- Locates root cause of problems by using sound troubleshooting methods to ensure that permanent repairs can be made to minimize costly downtime
- Uses precision measuring and testing instruments to ensure machine accuracy
- Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of machine control components including, but not limited to; motor drives, controllers, sensors, switches, breakers, overloads, power supplies, etc.
- Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of power transmission components including, but not limited to; drives, bearings, gears, belts, chains, sprockets, etc.
- Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems including, but not limited to: tanks, pumps, valves, piping, cylinders, and controls
- Perform installation, service, and repairs to buildings, facilities, and grounds including, but not limited to: doors, windows, guard rails and fencing, air handling and exhaust units
- Provide proper record keeping, documentation, and information for, but not limited to Machine files, repair files
- Maintains clear communication with supervisor and with production regarding equipment status of repair, and release to production
- Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Work Environment -- Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
Education/Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in electrical and/or electronic and mechanical maintenance including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLC's, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission, pumps
- Demonstrated ability to follow all established safe work procedures including, but not limited to personal protection equipment, safety lockout/tag-out, confined space, and elevated work areas
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical parts manuals such as electrical and mechanical diagrams, gauges, meters, calipers and other measuring tools
- Use all required hand and power tools including, but not limited to: drill, saw, torch, and jacks, as well as ladders, cranes, fork lift, and other maintenance equipment
Physical Demands - Regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.
