Duties:

• [Design systems and products at the cutting edge of modern wireless communications ranging from Long Wave thru S-Band.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Design and realization of digital modulators using adaptive pre-correction and crest factor reduction in FPGA hardware platforms.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
• [FPGA design and verification using VHDL programming languages for Xilinx devices.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Familiar with digital RF waveforms and digital modulation techniques, including COFDM, QAM, QPSK, and 8VSB.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Digital RF communications system analysis using MatLab simulation tools and/or other custom simulation tools a plus.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Familiarity with correcting non-linear RF power amplifiers using adaptive digital pre-correction techniques a plus.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
• [Experience designing embedded micro-controllers including ARM, PIC, Kinetis, Microblaze.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}

Qualifications:

• [BS degree, in Electrical Engineering or similar with 3-5 years of design experience, 5-10 years of experience in digital wireless communication is preferred.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
• [3-5 years experience working in an R&D environment at technology-related company(ies).]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
• [3 years experience with RF and Digital Communications Systems.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
• [4 years demonstrating formal understanding in communication and signal processing theory and techniques.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
• [3 years demonstrated proficiency with digital HW design, schematic capture, and high-speed board design.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
• [1-2 years experience with common equipment such as signal generator, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum/vector signal analyzer.]{verdana",="" sans-serif"=""}
