The ideal applicant should have hands on experience in cell based assays, primary cells and working with multi-cell/3D culture systems. A background in skin biology is strongly desired. As a Scientist, they will collaborate with other biologists, genomics, analytical and other interdisciplinary teams to develop robust and reliable methods for assessing cellular/tissue changes involved in skin, identify and create innovation opportunities for and within the capability, evaluate formulations and predict technologies that can impact consumer health and beauty for business needs across P&G’s many business categories. Job Qualifications

• Candidate should have a PhD in cell biology and/or molecular biology with 2D/3D tissue culture experience. Background/expertise in skin biology would be desirable.

• Candidate should be experienced in working across disciplines and have a track record of identifying novel approaches leading to novel insights. Demonstrated ability to develop and optimize protocols and establish SOP-driven capabilities. Must be able to work comfortably in a rigorous, SOP-driven industrial science environment. Strong background in handling, analyzing, interpreting and communicating complex scientific data. Design & define experimental conditions to mimic business relevant phenotypes (ie, aging, irritation, inflammation, hydration, etc…).

• Leadership skills to develop research programs and deliver successful business-building results. Must be able to recognize additional/new opportunities, develop ideas, and understand the potential of reapplication of capabilities across multiple programs.

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate data to others with diverse technical backgrounds and management to drive decision making is required. Candidate should have a strong publication and/or patent filing record and evidence of technical presentations.

• Ability to influence programs and partner seamlessly across geographies and organizational boundaries building diverse, collaborative relationships.
