nVent SIOP Analyst in Matamoros, Mexico

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain forecast for assigned markets to meet internal and external customer expectations
Evaluate sales and operations performance against forecast, identify root cause for variations and come up with corrective actions when necessary
Works with operations to keep capacity planning aligned with sales and forecast targets
Assist in coordinating phase-in, phase-out and transition items with Supply Chain Group
Perform ad hoc analysis as required by Supply Chain
Perform system data analysis and maintenance to reflect accurate part number setup
Cross-train and serve as back-up to other analyst and coordinator roles within the team
Perform other such duties as the Supply Chain team may require.
Education and Experience:
4-year degree in supply chain management, operations management, or related field.
1+ years experience in demand/production/manufacturing planning (internship time will be considered)
Microsoft Excel, intermediate level
Microsoft Access experience
ERP experience; JD Edwards/Oracle experience a plus
Preferred experience in Python Pandas and/or NumPy, Excel Power Query and SQL beginner
