Description

Robert Half is seeking a Sales Manager for our client in the Matawan, NJ area. The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing a sales team to achieve company revenue and growth targets. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, guiding and mentoring sales representatives, and ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales goals. The Sales Manager will collaborate with other departments to optimize sales processes and drive overall business success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop key sales strategies and action plans.

  • Identify and set sales targets to enhance profitability.

  • Evaluate sales performance and ensure they're consistent with business goals.

  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives.

  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback and support.

  • Conduct regular meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and share best practices.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in sales and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

  • Analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data and metrics.

  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
