As an Associate Technical Analyst, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Software Engineering team reporting to the Director Software Engineering PEP, you will support projects including developing and deploying the property management software across various Hilton properties globally.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Work with Hilton cross-functional teams to understand property management systems business requirements and help provide guidance towards technical solutions to meet those requirements.
- Work closely with our technical team to translate the technical solutions into system functions and features.
- Ability to perform some level of User Acceptance Testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are ready for deployment.
- Ensure every sprint item is properly developed, tested & released to production.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Be an engaged member of a software engineering team, working closely with business team members daily, identifying their needs, and documenting effectively.
- Work with our technical partners to help deliver enhancements and fixes on the property system in a timely manner.
- Use a customer-centric approach, able to influence, create, and manage business and technology processes.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Analyst for deploying new features and fixes into various modules of the PMS system (PEP).
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Professional work experience in Technology or related field
- Experience capturing requirements from stakeholders and cross-functional collaboration
- Basic understanding of database design and development.
- Basic understanding of various technologies including but not limited to AWS Cloud solutions, Microservices, and API management.
- Basic understanding of user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements and technical specifications.
- Experience in Agile methodology best practices and familiarity with Agile software tools such as JIRA.
- Must be willing to work a hybrid schedule out of one of our three US corporate office locations (McLean, Dallas, Memphis)
- Travel up to 10%
It would be useful if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6 years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12 years of Technology related experience
- Three (3) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
- One (1) year of full-cycle software development in an Agile environment
