Primary Purpose of Job:

The Director of Integration & Operations for the People & Corporate Strategy Sector (PCS) will lead the PCS Program Management Office in the efficient and successful planning, coordination, and execution of business and program initiatives across the sector. The incumbent reports directly to the VP of HR, Talent Experience and Total Rewards and leads the effective management of all sector program initiatives, related internal employee communications, as well as the sector’s budget. The incumbent is required to exercise considerable independent judgment, employ exceptional leadership, people management, analytical, and organizational skills, communicate clearly and effectively, and liaise across the sector and organization - communicating easily with staff in the full spectrum of roles and at all organizational levels.

Essential Job Functions:

Director will lead the sector’s business and program operations, ensuring strategic alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and strategy while prioritizing, organizing, and tracking the sector’s business priorities from conception to completion. Uses systems-thinking to establish processes and create efficiencies that drive program accountability, cohesion, and alignment across the sector’s functional groups while ensuring clear, effective, and impactful program communications across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads program management office and applies business acumen, process improvement, and change management capabilities to successfully plan, coordinate, and lead initiatives from conception through completion, while ensuring projects are executed in alignment with PCS Sector strategic direction.

  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of the organization’s long-term strategy and measures – adept at identifying the interdependencies and potential obstacles to success across the enterprise and sector’s programs, projects, and deliverables.

  • Leads a diverse PMO team in the development and execution of detailed project and communications plans, comprehensive project documentation, measurement and communication of project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.

  • Leads effectively across the organization and builds and develops key cross-organizational and enterprise-wide relationships while ensuring collaboration and cooperation, building a foundation of trust, and inspiring engagement.

  • Leads and partners effectively with colleagues both within the sector and across the enterprise to ensure the PCS PMO team is sharing and building its knowledge, experience, and methodologies.

  • Leads, coordinates, forecasts, and monitors the sector’s budget in collaboration with PCS leaders in response to current and future sector needs and in alignment with organizational strategy.

  • Good Steward of Resources: Effectively manages operations (revenue, costs, people, etc.)

    Required Skills:

Qualifications: Position requires a wide-ranging diversity of experience with a cross-functional background in a variety of project management and leadership roles.

Education: 15 years of professional experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, management, or similar field.

  • Exceptional facilitation, collaboration, written, oral communications, and presentation skills.

  • Exemplary leadership skills including persistent, tactful, and persuasive communications, influencing, conflict resolution, negotiation skills.

  • Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity and organizational change in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing calendarized plans and program budgets, ensure milestones and requirements are satisfied on time.

  • Ability to understand, balance, and articulate both strategic and tactical planning.

  • Strategic thinker, data-driven and analytical in approach to solving problems and making quality decisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, coach and mentor staff.

  • Ability to prioritize across multiple projects and simultaneously handle diverse assignments.

  • Maturity and strong ethics – able to appropriately handle confidential information.

  • Able to digest and synthesize technical and non-technical information from multiple domains.

    Desired Skills:

  • PMP certification is a plus.
