Somatus, the leader in value-based kidney care, is looking for a mission-driven Human Resources Specialist to focus on culture and teammate engagement. This key HR teammate will support and drive talent and culture initiatives focused on engaging and developing high performing teams. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the ideal candidate will be passionate about helping others learn, grow, and engage.

This role requires you to be on site at our Corporate office in Mclean, Va.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of the teammate experience strategy focused on increasing alignment within and across teams, enable effective feedback and recognition, empower teammates, managers, and leaders.

  • Lead the new hire on-boarding and orientation activities and workflows to ensure exceptional teammate experience.

  • Drive the coordination, communication, and scheduling of culture & engagement events such as the teammate engagement surveys.

  • Create and analyze survey data to identify key areas for strategic development to aid in the support of creating strategies / programs.

  • Support the strategy for tracking and reporting employee experience metrics.

  • Support HR transactions to ensure seamless employee experience.

  • Partner with HRBP’s, Leaders, and HR to help support change management strategies; appropriately leverage and manage existing network of change agents to help teammates understand and adjust to changes.

  • Support in the development and execution of programs and initiatives focusing on our culture, our values, and our people.

  • Lead efforts in enriching our Recognition program to ensure we are promoting an environment of appreciation, inclusion, and belonging.

  • Demonstrated abilities to build connections with leadership and key stakeholders in a multi-dimensional organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • 3-5 year of experience in HR, Culture & Engagement, or related field

  • Strong organization and program management skills.

  • Previous experience with facilitating enterprise initiatives

  • Ability to create templates, surveys, presentations, and technical documentation using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.

  • Strong consultative approach.

  • Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Previous experience leading on-boarding workstreams a plus.

  • Experience working in healthcare organizations.
