JOB OVERVIEW

The Specialist l within the Talent Management team will support Sunrise University onboarding, annual, and continuing education curriculum. This role will partner with talent management leaders and subject matter experts to develop, implement, and sustain or enhance learning curriculum and program initiatives that adhere to state, province, federal, OSHA regulations, organizational goals/objectives, organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:

The unique responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the essential functions listed as follows:

  • Support learning solutions by way of instructional design, curriculum development and sustainment.

  • Support the execution of Sunrise University training, providing a blended learning experience, classroom and online.

  • Achieve business goals, including training compliance, by enabling our team members to perform effectively in their roles and retaining top talent.

  • Optimize field, regional, and community learning consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness.

  • Support continuous improvement through learning evaluation.

  • Analyze and evaluate opportunities and risks; provide insights, reports, and recommendations.

  • Support as needed legal inquiries and regulatory plans of correction as it relates to training compliance.

  • Ensure that Sunrise University follows organizational policies and any relevant external regulations.

  • Maintain program standards, qualifications, and best practices are followed.

  • Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and balance needs from different areas of the business while being an ambassador for all programs and curriculum.

  • Provide learning and compliance related reporting, leverage business analytics platform, Power BI.

  • Maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive and confidential information.

  • Position may require minimal travel, up to 10%.

  • Position may work remote or hybrid schedule out of McLean, VA Office

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed throughout this job description are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience in Instructional Design

  • 3 - 5 years preferredin Human Resources, Learning & Development background

  • Expert of knowledge of Adult Learning Principles

  • Performs work with a high degree of autonomy

  • Program development and management

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships

  • Organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills

  • Project Management experience

  • Detail oriented

  • Written and verbal communication skills

  • Financial management skills

  • Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), instructional design applications with the ability to learn newapplications R
