About the role
Join us in the role of Associate Manager - Field Service, where you will be at the forefront of leading a team of dedicated field service engineers across multiple states in Australia. Your leadership will be crucial in driving their success, ensuring efficient operations, and fostering a culture of excellence. Through strategic resource allocation, training, and effective people management, you will guide the team to surpass challenges, deliver exceptional service, and contribute to our business growth.
This is a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract with scope for further opportunities.
Travel will be required for this role - once a month to spend time with the team across Australia.
We can consider candidates for this role based in Melbourne or Sydney.
Responsibilities
Directly supervise frontline field service employees, providing mentoring, support and training
Assist National Field Service Manager in region growth, employee development, and performance
Support regional talent management, including candidate selection, training, and coaching
Set performance targets, monitor progress, and provide feedback to technicians
Manage resources for adequate coverage and customer needs
Collaborate with Sales and RSM's to address customer requirements
Maintain quality standards and documentation of service activities for internal and external reference
Ensure traceability of all field-based Stryker products through reporting tools and inventory management
Experience:
Degree in Engineering and working experience in a technical/field service role
People leadership experience managing remote field based teams
Excellent communicator, with strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills
Experience analysing data and improving processes within an engineering team
Ability to handle tight deadlines and competing priorities
Ability to build strong trusted relationships with stakeholders
