The General Accounting Manager is a crucial part of our Finance organization. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the period close process within established timelines, driving process improvements, and implementing changes across the Accounting department. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and Developing Staff: Lead and mentor a team, fostering growth and ensuring their success.

• Reviewing Journal Entries: Analyze a wide variety of journal entries, applying strong accounting and analytical skills to ensure financial reporting adheres to US GAAP and company policies.

• Bad Debt Reserve Analysis: Oversee the review and reporting of bad debt reserves.

• Commercial Rebates: Facilitate the recording and payout of commercial rebates.

• Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Review balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure compliance with company policies.

• Audit Coordination: Accommodate internal and external audit requests.

• Process Improvements: Coordinate efforts to drive process improvements related to functions performed by the General Accounting team.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with a minimum of six years of related experience or equivalent; CPA preferred.

Strong procedure development and implementation skills, with demonstrated process improvement ability.

Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Outstanding organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks/projects while meeting critical deadlines.

Ability to succeed in a team environment.

Quick adaptability and ability to learn new tasks independently.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
