Payroll Processing: Utilize your intermediate knowledge of payroll skills, methods, and practices to handle routine tasks. You’ll choose the best alternatives from our policies and procedures to ensure smooth payroll operations.

Compliance Champion: Apply industry standards, AutoZone policies, federal and state laws, and other regulations. Your attention to detail will help us maintain compliance and uphold our reputation.

Problem Solver: Tackle standard payroll challenges with initiative. Your decisions will impact our employees’ financial well-being.

Responsibilities:

Excellent Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service to employees and vendors.

Transaction Management: Complete and maintain transactions in our enterprise system.

Review and Process: Ensure approval, prepare, process, reconcile, and support transactions such as time corrections and off-cycle payment requests.

Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot inquiries and issues, conducting research and making necessary corrections. Coordinate escalations when needed.

Information Gathering: Obtain additional information via phone, US mail, or email from customers/vendors. Correct or escalate as required.

Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of processes.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred.

2 years of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Familiarity with Payroll, Customer Service, or General Office operations.

Proficiency in computer skills, including spreadsheet and word processing software.
