Ford Motor Company Commercial Credit Manager (Automotive Industry) in Mexico City, Mexico

This position will be working in Hybrid Scheme.

As a Commercial Risk Manager, you will be responsible for topics such as ensure all commercial credit requests are presented accurately, manage wholesale audit, review and analyze all wholesale process and audits according to company policies and procedures rescheduling and cancellations to minimize audit costs.

  • Ensure all commercial credit requests are presented accurately, logically, and timely, with risk issues identified and action plans documented. Drive "first-time-through" credit file approval mindset through Dealer Credit team.

  • Effectively manage risk and control over limits on higher risk dealers using all available resources with additional emphasis on stand-alone Lincoln stores and impact of LCP/LCORP. Ensure the loss prevention (watch) processes are proactively managed prior to a status declaration. Effectively manage the status process to ensure losses are minimized.

  • Establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with facing sales partners in dealer credit matters and support Ford's growth plans. Support retention. Support Ford's Facility Improvement,

  • Manage wholesale audit rescheduling and cancellations to minimize audit costs.

  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures to achieve compliant ratings on CSA, PWC audits, GAO audits, and CPR. Keep management abreast of issues. Create an environment that encourages self-identification of issues/opportunities. Ensure due diligence reviews are conducted as required, and all PII and Company Confidential information is handled properly.

  • Ensure completion of required training curriculum. Provide timely coaching/feedback for deficiencies in performance, Ford +Behaviors, and/or any disciplinary situations. Promote teamwork and diversity.

  • Review and analyze all wholesale process and audits according to company policies and procedures.

  • Manage wholesale risk by ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.

  • Work with employees to develop and implement process improvements to existing wholesale processes.

  • Approve assigned wholesale floorings as required.

  • Monitor reports to ensure all employees are meeting Company standards

  • Ensure monitoring is in place and action plans are developed to address risk issues as identified by compliance.

  • Manage all wholesale functions and teams to ensure proper processing of transactions. Work with the sales organization to initiate corrective action plans to address dealer issues.

  • Provide coaching and guidance in all wholesale matters to your Wholesale Supervisor and WSRs.

  • Minimum 2-3 years automotive dealer and commercial lending experience.

  • Advanced degree in Finance and / or Accounting or similar

  • Supervisory and Risk Management experience as preferable (Automotive Industry)

  • Proficient in English and Spanish (written and verbal) 100%
