Skills:

• Must have excellent back-end development skills in Python.

• Good Knowledge of Rally and Jira API endpoints.

• Strong Familiarity with Rally and Jira APIs.

• Good Knowledge of the Atlassian Platform tools (Jira Software, Jira Service Manager, and Confluence)

• Excellent skills with English language

• Knowledge of CI/CD build tools (i.e. Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

• Scripting knowledge in Bash or Python.

• Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient knowledge and use of Backlog tools, such as Jira and Rally.

• Ability to work collaboratively with others and navigate complex decision-making scenarios.

• Experience or knowledge of GitHub, Linux, Shell, Bash

Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position:

• Lead the development of scripts, utilities, and automation of migrating Rally project data to Jira for the Enterprise Technology organization.

• On site once or twice a week.

• Develop and maintain migration scripts, utilities, and automation to ensure that Rally data is migrated accurately, securely, and efficiently. You will work with other members of the Migration team, business members, and customers of the project to assist with the migration.

• Coordinate, build, monitor, and maintain a repeatable migration process.

• Plan, implement, and monitor migration projects and activities.

• Identify and resolve migration issues and provide technical support for the migration process to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently.

• Simplifies complex ideas and conveys them clearly in both oral and written communication.

• Identify opportunities to improve migration processes and improve the efficiency of handling data.

• Actively participate in all team agile ceremonies:

• Backlog Refinement/Planning

• Stand-ups

• Retrospectives

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in computer science or related disciplines.

• 5+ years of Software development in a large enterprise environment.

• Exposure to Software Development methodologies, Quality Assurance and Security & Control procedures.
