Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called delivery partners – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, individuals can now be their own boss delivering Amazon packages.

As a Sr. Program Manager on the Amazon Flex Team you will be responsible for creating a road map to drive game changing process improvements and results in a specific area of ownership. Areas include cost, productivity, driver experience, labor planning, quality and capacity. To achieve your goals, you will work with functions that cut across the organization; including data science, technology, operations, and marketing. You will partner closely with our business partners understand their goals and build plans that allows Amazon Flex to not only meet their needs but exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop projects and programs that improve the Flex delivery partner network across Amazon sub-same day delivery network and launch new initiatives within these spaces.

• Work with data science, technology, operations, and marketing to improve the delivery partner experience.

• Work closely with tech, finance, marketing, capacity management, data science, engineering, and program management on new business processes and experimentation.

• Identify, develop, and implement processes and mechanisms to improve Flex program performance, including working cross-functionally with internal teams to support the continuous improvement of tools and processes.

• Exercise excellent business judgement while deep diving input metrics to proactively identify, action, and/or provide advice on how to drive growth, improve delivery partner experience, and close the gap to goal.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop roadmaps that entail short to long term goal aimed at driving team and business vision

• Perform data analysis to derive meaningful inferences from the data, informing initiatives

• Drive process improvement initiatives

• Collaborate across the stakeholder teams

• Present your business via cadence review forums.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Mexico City, DIF, MEX

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience

• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

• Bachelor's degree

• Fluent English (verbal and written).

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

• Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
