Data Entry Operator I- Temp to Hire- Middlebury, CT

Location: Middlebury, CT

Hourly Rate : $20/hr

Work Hours: M-F; 8AM-5PM

Join our dedicated team at Kelly Services for a temp to hire position in Middlebury, CT.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator I to ensure the accuracy and compliance of key billing documentation.

Primary Function:

As a Financial Records Specialist, you will monitor key billing documentation associated with patient admissions and recertification's to ensure compliance with billing rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily admission and recertification documents to ensure timely receipt of key billing documentation.

  • Review admission documentation for completeness and facilitate the management of required corrections.

  • Prepare initial VITAS patient office charts with admission paperwork received.

  • Enter key billing data from the admission and recertification processes into VITAS software, initiating the billing process.

  • Communicate effectively with Team Managers to ensure compliance with all billing-related documentation.

  • Report any issues or trends noted to the Patient Care Administrator.

  • Perform related duties as required to support departmental functions.

Qualifications :

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Basic technical and professional skills to support job performance.

  • Excellent time management and communication skills.

  • Experience with VITAS patient management systems (e.g., Vx, VxCarePlanIT) is preferred.
