Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Davis-McNally Lodging. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

Job Summary

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all hotel guests, making their stay comfortable and accommodating as possible while achieving team and brand goals

  • Achieve budgeted revenue and profit goals while balancing costs with guest satisfaction

  • Knowledge of brand operating systems

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and direction by maximizing financial returns, driving development of people, creating and maintaining a unique guest experience, executing on brand standards and building awareness of hotel and brand in the local community

  • Ensure that hiring and employee practices comply with company requirements

  • Assist sales team in actively selling the hotel to groups, meetings, and all other guests

  • Inspect property on a daily basis and implements controls (i.e. overtime, safety deposit boxes, master keys, banks, etc.) and audits them on a regular basis to ensure their accuracy and completeness

REQUIRED/PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2-4 years of hotel management experience

  • Degree in hospitality or related field of study, preferred

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

  • This position requires 5 days / 50 hours per week based on the needs of the hotel.
