Members First Credit Union Talent Acquisition Specialist II in Midland, Michigan

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will have a focus on end-to-end recruitment, often for specialized positions. You will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees.

Position Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to assist Members First Credit Union to deliver on its mission: To encourage a better tomorrow. Essential Duties

Encourage our culture of purpose, belonging, and joy for each employee and Leader.

Partner with hiring Leaders to understand needs and establish a recruitment action plan that best fits.

Create a superior candidate experience, providing a high level of service to candidates as they begin their Employee Life Cycle journey.

Collaborate with Leadership Team on performance development; including coaching and new Leader training.

Integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies by developing and maintaining relationship with community groups and other associations in an effort to further diversity efforts.

Own Affirmative Action Plan (AAP), ensuring timely completion, communication, and compliance with posting and training requirements.

Develop and maintain relationships with external recruiters.

Create, post, and maintain job postings in UKG and other related systems.

Schedule and participate in various stages of the recruiting process, including application reviews, interview question development, phone screens, interviews, coordination of offers, and onboarding.

Administer pre-employment assessments and screenings including pre-employment credit, background, bondability, New Hire Assessment, and drug screens.

Distribute and/or re-distribute Performance Development Role & Relationship Orientation, Developmental Coaching, and Performance Summaries on a timely basis.

Collaborate with Marketing Team to create and maintain website and recruiting materials.

Schedule and coordinate with Talent Acquisition team to elevate attendance at job fairs.

Respond to HR Help requests, pertaining to Talent Acquisition and Performance Development, on a timely basis.

Effectively communicate with employees, Leaders, vendors, applicants, and others in person, by phone, letter, and/or email.

Ensure that the Hire/Term Checklist is up-to-date.

Manage information in UKG accurately, timely and consistently.

Perform HR Software implementation, updates, reporting and troubleshooting, pertaining to Talent Acquisition and Performance Development.

File and manage documentation, ensuring timely access and compliance with record retention schedule.

Available to answer general employee questions/concerns as requested.

This position requires being able to interact in person and via zoom with camera on.
