Your Future Role.
Service Engineer with a focus on providing exceptional field service for Medium Voltage Motors, Low Voltage Motors, and Drive Systems. In this role, you will be the on-site technical expert, ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our products at customer sites. As a Service Engineer, you will be essential in delivering field support that ensures optimal performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction for Innomotics products. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting and repair services for Medium Voltage Motors and Drive Systems. Diagnose and resolve technical issues to restore product functionality swiftly and efficiently.
Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. Work closely with the project team to ensure seamless handover to clients.
Maintenance & Preventive Care: Perform routine maintenance and preventive inspections, identifying potential issues and advising clients on corrective actions to prevent downtime.
Client Interaction & Reporting: Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication on service activities and progress. Document service activities, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with both internal teams and customers.
Training & Guidance: Provide technical training and guidance to clients on operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Innomotics equipment. Offer expertise on optimizing product usage to improve performance and lifespan.
Documentation Management: Manage and update technical documentation, service reports, and client records, ensuring accurate information flow within the service team and compliance with regulatory standards.
Emergency Response & Flexibility: Be available for emergency response and flexible to travel on short notice to customer sites to address critical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring client satisfaction.
Your Profile.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent experience in field engineering may also be considered.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in field service engineering, particularly with motors and drive systems. Familiarity with Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Motors and Drives is highly desirable.
Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment, with solid knowledge of diagnostic tools and software. Knowledge of PLCs and control systems is a plus.
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills for resolving complex technical issues. Ability to work independently under pressure and adapt to varying technical challenges.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English. Ability to interact professionally with clients and clearly communicate technical solutions.
Travel Availability: Willingness to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, to customer locations across Italy.
