Overall Description Croda is seeking a Maintenance Technician III- Mechanical to perform regular and preventive maintenance duties on all mechanical assets on site. Have a good understanding of the Mill Hall CMMS system.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES LEADERSHIP: · Be able to print work orders and schedule work for a 6--8 person maintenance crew · Have a good understanding of the Mill Hall mechanical assets and how they work · Provide leadership to the less experienced maintenance technicians and perform all duties within the Company's Safety, Health and Environmental regulations · All other duties as assigned by management

KEY DUTIES: Perform PM's and MI's on company Assets -- 30% · Review CMMS generated work orders · Obtain spares needed to complete work orders · Complete the work orders on time · Complete all paperwork for PM and or MI · Provide completed paperwork to Lead Maintenance Mechanic

Perform Maintenance Work Orders -- 30% · Obtain CMMS generated work order · Troubleshoot mechanical asset · Repair and rebuild seals, gearboxes, vessels, shrink wrappers, pumps, valve gauges, etc. · Install new equipment such as couplings, piping, pumps

Provide mechanical support to Maintenance technicians-- 20% · Obtain CMMS generated work order for maintenance technician · Help the maintenance technician troubleshoot mechanical assets · Help the maintenance technician repair and rebuild seals, gearboxes, vessels, shrink wrappers, pumps, valve gauges, etc. · Help the maintenance technician with the installation of pumps, piping, couplings, etc.

Provide Leadership of the Maintenance Group -- 10% · Act as Lead Maintenance Technician when Lead is not on site · Perform all duties associated with the Lead position.

General Maintenance -- 10% · Perform various tasks as required including painting, masonry, grounds maintenance, drive trailers, snow removal

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

· 5 to 10 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting, chemical industry preferred

EDUCATION & TRAINING: · Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment and systems, ability to perform math calculations, be able to follow detailed instructions. Have training or understanding of hazardous line breaking, permit writing, safety requirements for the site, pump, seal & pipe system design, and power transmission

SKILLS & ABILITIES: · Perform welding of pipe, structural steel and stainless steel · Make mechanical and pipefitting repairs · Perform internal vessel inspections · Perform lock out of mechanical systems · Perform rebuilding of mechanical parts and systems · Perform masonry work and painting when needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: · Able to lift 50 pounds, stoop, kneel, crawl in to confined spaces, and climb. Must be able to wear a respirator
