About the team: This position is for the Modern Banking Platform (MBP) Product Owner team - Retail Deposits. FIS Modern Banking Platform is cloud-enabled, componentized, open and secure - a modernized core solution designed with API-first functionality that provides FIS clients with the flexibility and speed needed to innovate into the future. What you will be doing: Product Owners employ customer centricity and design thinking to guide agile scrum teams in delivering software applications that meet client and strategic goals. This role must be well versed in Agile principles and methodology; experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus. As a member of the MBP Product Owner team you will: Break down Features from Product Management into small, deliverable user stories with clear acceptance criteria Provide daily product direction to 1 or 2 scrum teams Work with the Product Management team and Solution Architect to ensure scope alignment Contribute to feature prioritization discussions with the Product Management team Prioritize a team\'s iteration backlog of user stories In conjunction with the scrum master, protect the scrum team from fly-in work by managing stakeholder\'s requests. GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Understands product strategy, market, industry, and client goals for Retail Deposit products and processing. Contributes to prioritization discussions with Product Managers; employs Weighted Shortest Job First (WSJF) thinking to provide insightful input.
