Join us as our new Packaging Supervisor (2nd Shift) This position works under general direction and is responsible for managing the production process and employees on assigned shift to maximize production results and meet Customer demand. This is a hands-on position that is heavily engaged in day-to-day production activities. In this role you\'ll make an impact by: Providingleadership necessary to achieve production goals by: Driving safety culture. Scheduling and assigning personnel and establishing priorities, communicating job expectations, and planning, monitoring, and evaluating job performance. Providing coaching follow-up for performance regarding development, safety, quality and productivity. Mentoring employees and directing work assignments through effective communication and cultivating a positive work environment. Initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures, as well as promoting and implementing company and/or department initiatives and/or directives provided. Creating the basis for continuous improvement and employee empowerment by ensuring that standardized processes are followed, countermeasures implemented, and the area is compliant with safety requirements.
