Aston Carter Sourcing Analyst in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Description:

Determine and define project scope and objectives; Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner. Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plans; Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress. Manage contracts service levels with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables. Function as point of contact for critical escalations. Work directly with supply chain and engineering resources to deploy DFSC methodology, preferred parts usage, material substitutions, and other tactics to lower TCO and TOCT. Interpret commodity and spend analysis to create action plans for cost, terms, service, and lead-time. Support materials and risk, compliance, and regulatory audits. Develops and follows standard work. Optimizing and improving processes where necessary.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Years of supply Chain Experience (Materials, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Logistics), with experience in leading projects and teams through influence. APICS certification preferred. Experienced in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. Knowledgeable in the application of Design for Supply Chain/Design for Manufacturing principles within complex value chains. Capable of applying LEAN continuous improvement principles within value chains. Has demonstrated ability to develop and implement standard work and operating rhythms.
