Genesis10 Cloud System Administrator in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Genesis10 is seeking a Cloud System Administrator for a contract with our client in Minneapolis, MN. 100% Remote. Job Description: The Tritura Cloud System Administrator will be instrumental in the growth and maturity of Tritura's technical process, security, and expanding cloud infrastructure and Azure-hosted systems. The Tritura Cloud System Administrator will support, maintain, and be the technical subject matter expert for Tritura's Azure environment. This role will report to Tritura Chief Information Security Officer & Director of Infrastructure and will work closely with Tritura's business units. Key Responsibilities: Azure System Administrator / DevOps Engineer Deploy cloud infrastructure and platform environments, creating a proof-of-architecture to test architecture viability, security, and performance Design, implement and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions based on industry best practices. Design, develop, and build automated CI/CD pipelines to deliver solutions. Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications and services. Develop and deploy monitoring agents observing system uptime and proactively optimize performance Manage and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes within Azure deployments. Troubleshoot complex technical issues across all layers of the technology stack Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps practices that streamline development workflows while maintaining compliance and resiliency. Deploy, and maintain Linux based virtual machines and container images. 70% Security Operations of Azure and Hosted Servers Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Tritura's information systems and sensitive information. Monitor, triage and investigate security alerts for indicators of compromise. Assist in detecting and initiating Tritura's Incident Response Plan in response to cybersecurity threats. Assist in security audit processes including internal security reviews, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and ISO 27001 certification. Assist in management of virtual networks, provision network segmentation and network security groups for Azure cloud-based environment. Assist in hardening of Linux and Windows servers, cloud-based services and active directory domains. Assist in managing and maintaining group policy and baseline images. Frequently assess the need for any security reconfigurations (minor or significant) and execute them if required 15% Infrastructure and Technical Operations Support Assist Technical Operations in the management of the servers of the company Assist Technical Operations in servicing user requests for account management on servers of the company Create, maintain, and update best practices documentation and model documents available internally for Azure environment Research and advise on evolving cloud offerings in Azure Conduct root cause analysis for failures to diagnose underlying issues Provision azure servers and resources for the cloud environment. Perform regular maintenance in concert with Technical Operations Team 15% Required Basic Qualifications: Special projects and other duties as assigned. 5+ years' experience as System Administrator with Azure environment 5+ years' experience DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role Preferred Requirements: Experience provisioning Linux servers Experience with Azure Virtual Machines Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Strong working knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows Experience with ISO 27001 compliance Strong Linux Fundamentals and Scripting Skills Hands-on public cloud experience - AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure (preferred). Prefer industry certification (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps / Solutions Architect) Familiar with Agile or other development project management workflows Experience building & deploying services on Kubernetes Experience using Terraform or other nfrastructure as code tools. Experience in using source code management system such as GIT. Demonstrate ability to work independently, organize and accurately prioritize work, be detail-oriented, understand when urgency is required and use good judgment in varied situations. Ability to work effectively with co-workers in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. This role does not have a consistent travel expectation; however, there may be travel from time- to- time.
