The Music Therpaist role asesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinatesgoal-orientedprograms for all residentsby way of therapeutic music programming. In addition,servesas a resource personforindependent leisure pursuits. Enables residents to achieveoptimallevel of intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual potentialwith music asthetherapeutic medium for our beautiful senior living in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities/Job Description

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and conduct programs pertinent to the interests and needs of the individual resident

• Maintains compliance with state and federal regulations regarding medical record documentation and participation

• Enables residents to achieveoptimallevel of intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual potentialwith music asthetherapeutic medium

• Other duties as assigned and directed: Drives bus and ensures resident safety

Qualifications

Required:

• Board Ceritied Music Therapist (MT-BC)

• Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy or Music Education

• Drivers license in good standing

• Profficency in piano or guitar

Preffered:

• 1-3 years experience
