WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER The Senior Manager, Business Strategy and Operations (BSO) supports the operational excellence of TNC's Marketing and Communications (MAC) division through three primary scopes of work: leading or supporting departmental process and workflow development and implementation; project management of priority business strategy and operations projects; and executing priority MAC division special projects. Process and Workflow Development and Implementation: The Senior Manager, BSO leads or supports the planning, execution, and implementation of business process and workflow projects within the MAC division. They work with stakeholders and colleagues to: define project goals; gather input to understand current state; develop and test processes; facilitate the change management; and monitor results. Project Management: The Senior Manager, BSO is responsible for the high-caliber, successful project management of operations-focused priority projects and initiatives of the MAC division. Serving in a leadership role on project teams, they are responsible for: managing projects in line with MAC'S project management framework; developing clear and effective project plans, including working with project leadership to define strategic goals, objectives, and key performance indicators; assembling and managing project teams with clear roles; developing and tracking/managing budgets; developing timelines and ensuring that deliverables are executed on time; reporting at various milestones throughout the project; and proactively identifying and solving issues or problems as they arise to ensure that project goals and objectives are met. Special Projects Execution: The Senior Manager, BSO plans, executes, and delivers special projects in support of strategic priorities of the departmental leadership, Business Strategy and Operations team, and other divisional priorities as needed. They are responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meeting the quality standards of the division. As the Senior Manager, Business Strategy and Operations, you will: Responsible for leading or supporting the successful execution of process and workflow development and implementation projects of various size and scope, working in partnership with BSO team staff and other colleagues and stakeholders. Responsible for the project management of operations-focused divisional priority projects, ensuring execution follows the MAC project management framework and meets divisional standards. Responsible for the successful execution of MAC division special projects, meeting the quality standards of the division. Responsible for the change management approach of new process roll-outs, including communicating and socializing process or workflow changes and implementing training as needed. May supervise one or more staff, intern(s), and/or contractor(s). Accountable for achievement of direct reports' business and professional development goals and objectives. Collaborates and influences without authority to achieve project goals. Responsible for planning, development, and management of project-level budgets. Evaluates interim and end results; develops and implements corrective strategies as needed. Responsible and accountable for meeting goals and objectives. Opportunity to act independently within specific program or project goals. Work checked through agreement by superiors. Other related duties as assigned. Ability to identify recurring issues and analyze information for patterns, trends, relationships, and root causes. Experience in project management; PMP or other project management certification. Ability to foster an environment of creativity and professional growth. Excellent writing, presentation, communication, mediation, and negotiation skills. Expert knowledge of current and evolving trends in relevant business process and project management disciplines. Demonstrated ability in planning and management of budgets. Experience working in Asana or other project management software.
