Let's Redefine Possible SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Senior MEP PM to provide leadership, coordination, and final preparation of full estimates on large and complex advanced manufacturing projects related to semiconductors, EV batteries and solar modules. Excellent communication skills are necessary as you will be interacting with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality will be vital to your success. These projects will contain significant process mechanical systems integral to manufacturing operations. Your duties may include the management of project budget, trade partner contracts, quality, timeliness, safety, as well as mentoring the project team. You will also develop and improve customer relationships by providing excellent service. Effective communication skills are necessary as you will be interacting with staff and customers at all levels in an ever-changing environment. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with an elevated level of integrity and confidentiality is vital to your success in this role. The base compensation range for this role is $138,000 - $207,000 (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%) This position is eligible for a potential annual bonus. RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise the overall financial health of semiconductor/advanced technology projects Develop and maintain project financial projections and equipment budgets Determine and allocate project estimate into financial system Assign cost codes, approve invoices, and make necessary budget management decisions Provide financials and billings to Accounting for timely payment Create monthly owner billings Handle subcontracts and suppliers Oversee MEP-focused design efforts for projects utilizing Design-Build/EPC/CMAR project delivery methods Oversee budget for and make selections of trade partners and suppliers Handle billings and contract management, including contract buyouts Supervise the 3-D coordination process to resolve all conflicts prior to installation Direct and oversee the commissioning process on the project inclusive of the startup plan, commissioning schedule, and functional testing Lead all activities required in the project closeout inclusive of operations and maintenance manuals, model turn over, and training Lead Assistant Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s) Provide job assignments and lead career development Approve timecards for on-site team members Provide ongoing feedback of work performance Function as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representative Coordinate the procurement, install, took hook-up, and commissioning of owner furnished equipment (OFE) Assist with the review of the owner agreement Resolve site concerns for the owner and/or representative Provide frequent interactions and service to build positive relationships and future work opportunities Handle change orders Decide when to submit to the owner or on-site representatives Obtain the customer/architect's approval Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 10 years' experience in construction management overseeing large semiconductor/microelectronics/advanced manufacturing fabrication facility projects ($50M+) utilizing Design-Build/EPC/CMAR project delivery method Experience with a Mechanical or Electrical Contractor preferred Demonstrate ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for complex projec s Detail orientation sufficient to organize and run multiple project tasks Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices Microsoft Office, Project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level Positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies Current driver's license Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field Travel and/or relocation is required for this position. You can be based in any location but travel is expected.
