Optiv Sr. Marketing Strategy Analyst | Remote, USA in Minneapolis, Minnesota

This position can be hired remotely anywhere within the continental U.S.

Optiv’s Marketing department is seeking an Sr. Analyst to be a core member of the Marketing Strategy & Operations team. This individual will work with our team to support marketing operations, marketing intelligence and project management activities to ensure that team analytics, processes and priorities are aligned with Optiv’s strategy. In this strategic role, you will partner with the business and key stakeholders to plan and implement data analysis projects and overall processes that inform business decisions and drive growth. There will be a great deal of collaboration cross functional teams related to the organizations market system. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing Strategy, this individual will work closely with Optiv marketing team and key Optiv functions (operations, business sales, services, finance, HR (Human Resources), IT (Information Technology), legal, etc.) to help provide insights that advance company’s strategy, operations, key initiatives, and programs. The ideal candidate is an experienced, passionate data analyst who is highly strategic, a data-driven decision-maker, creative problem solver, and incredibly adept at prioritizing and balancing competing demands and constraints.

How you'll make an impact

  • Identify and build plans for scalable solutions that will serve Optiv for all its current and future analytical needs

  • Support campaign, quarterly and annual reporting as described below

  • Support data modeling: customer segmentation & target account profiling analysis

  • Help identify how best to connect Optiv’s marketing data sources for departmental and organizational reporting

  • Working on requests for adhoc reporting

  • Support the reporting for campaigns, quarterly and annual overviews

  • Create documentation and help shepherd the reporting approach and processes

  • Support the COO and BI team on cross functional business critical efforts

What we're looking for

  • Experience in supporting the COO and BI team on cross functional business critical efforts

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related work experience

  • Familiarity within the Microsoft Suite specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Familiarity with PowerBI or other automation tools
