CAE USA INC Business Analyst in Mirabel, Canada

About This Role

The role we are offering you:

As an embedded business analyst contractor at Bell Textron Canada Ltd. (BTCL), you will have the opportunity to contribute to the continued success of a business relationship. Are you ready to:

  • Act as a subject matter expert within BTCL for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities and other services provided by CAE

  • Perform data extraction/transfer to support ILS in-service activities or in response to stakeholders’ logistic requests

  • Coordinate Griffon Life Limited Extension logistic support analysis activities at BTCL

  • Review ILS deliverables prepared by CAE prior to submission to the program management office

  • Execute periodic data updates, transfer scripts, process files and monitor the results (continuity and completeness)

  • Develop, improve and/or maintain data transfer scripts, determining possible areas for improvement

  • Support the development of an Integrated Information Environment module (IIE) at BTCL to better integrate data : liaise with various departments, provide data mapping and elaborate relationship diagrams

  • Participate in the IIE new functionalities testing and data validation effort

  • Develop meaningful and lasting relationship with stakeholders

    Our ideal candidate has:

  • A university degree in science/engineering, information technology or computer science (or equivalent combination of experience)

  • Experience in logistic support analysis

  • Proficiency in programming (VBA, SQL, Power BI) and database management

  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • A high degree of autonomy and initiative

  • The ability to communicate either in French or English (oral and written) on a technical subject

    Will be considered assets, but no essential:

  • Knowledge of military aircraft fleets and National Defence operations

  • Knowledge of the Aircraft Maintenance Management Information System (AMMIS)

    Operational Requirements:

  • Must be able to meet the requirements of the Canada Controlled Goods Program (CGP), and in certain cases, ITAR requirements​

  • Must be eligible to obtaining and maintaining the government of Canada’s “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance

  • Flexible work profile is hybrid, 60% remote. Possibility of a 9/80 work schedule, which consists of 80 hours over 9 days. Location for on-site work (BTCL Mirabel) is not accessible via public transportation. A car is needed
